Dunbar celebrates centennial

The center originally opened as an all-Black high school on February 15, 1923. It was the first Black high school in Kentucky to be admitted into the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.

The Alltech Lexington St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival is planning its return to downtown Lexington on Saturday, March 11. Entries for parade participants and festival vendors for the annual outdoor event are now being accepted.
