Lexington Police to hold a Faith and Blue Event

The Lexington Police Department is partnering with Immanuel Baptist Church and GreenHouse 17 to participate in the National Faith and Blue Weekend by hosting an event on October 13, 2024.

Join the Lexington Police Department and Immanuel Baptist Church on October 13, 2024, from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Immanuel Baptist Church Tates Creek Campus (3100 Tates Creek Road) for a Faith and Blue Event.

Come out and meet your Lexington Police Department! Members of LPD’s Motorcycle, Canine, Bicycle, Hazardous Devices, Mounted, and Recruiting Units will be at the event to provide demonstrations. The Police Cook Team will be grilling out, and the Operation Copsicle Van will make an appearance. Representatives from other public safety partners will also be in attendance.

The event will feature a donation drive to collect much needed supplies for GreenHouse 17. Some items needed towels, wash cloths, shower caddies, essential hygiene items. To see more items needed by GreenHouse 17, visit greenhouse17.org/support-us/our-wish-list/

The event is free and open to the public.
