The City of Lexington invites residents who are interested in our local waterways to participate in water quality testing. The current round of testing will focus on the North Elkhorn Watershed, in the northeast part of Fayette County.

Citizens on the streets listed below may see vehicles, work crews, and small equipment. Work crews will be wearing reflective vests and appropriate identification. (This list was updated on Aug. 23, 2021)

The study is assessing and identifying disparities that may affect disadvantaged businesses and businesses owned by minorities and/or women when doing business with the City.
