Tates Creek Road Homicide and Shooting Investigation

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide and shooting that occurred yesterday evening on Tates Creek Road. 

On Thursday, October 24, 2024, around 10:34 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Tates Creek Road for a shooting with two victims. When they arrived, they located two male victims with gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second victim was transported to a local hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the decedent’s name.
