This marks the 50th year Lexington has hosted a march and a commemorative program celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Developers planning infill or redevelopment privately funded projects are invited to apply for the city’s new Infrastructure Fund.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30.
