Environmental Services
The Division of Environmental Services provides a wide range of environmentally-related services to city government and the public. These include civic beautification, community-wide sustainability initiatives, urban forestry, greenway management, mowing of corridors and county roads, enforcement of environmental ordinances, public outreach and education, and internal energy initiatives.

Applications are being accepted for Lexington’s 2021-22 Community Environmental Academy (CEA). Topics covered include water quality, wastewater treatment, urban forestry, transportation, waste management and more.
Visual artists of all types are encouraged to participate in the Art by Nature program.
