Environmental Services

The Division of Environmental Services provides a wide range of environmentally-related services to city government and the public. These include civic beautification, community-wide sustainability initiatives, urban forestry, greenway management, mowing of corridors and county roads, enforcement of environmental ordinances, public outreach and education, and internal energy initiatives.

New Funding Opportunities Announced to Grow Lexington’s Tree Canopy

The City of Lexington is excited to announce the second round of grant funds to be awarded as part of the Lex Grow Trees program, which is focused on making Lexington's tree population healthier and bigger.
