Tune in to share thoughts on regional climate action plan

The City of Lexington is working with leaders in Bourbon, Clark, Jessamine, Scott and Woodford Counties to collaborate on a regional climate action plan funded by a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency. Residents of all six counties are invited to attend a virtual meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.

Community members are invited to learn about and comment on potential projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our region.

Over the past several months, meetings have been held in each of the partner counties.

Jada Walker Griggs, Program Manager Senior for the City’s Sustainability Section, encourages community members to participate. She says, “This virtual meeting is a way for those who were not able to attend the meeting in their community to share their input.”

A survey will also be provided later this year for additional input.
