Join us for a Litter-clean-up-tree-mulching-tree-planting-Party! Coldstream Park is a special location. It's along Legacy Trail, near Cane Run stream. It happens to be a collection point for litter that has flowed into the stream from downtown and the interstate.
During our Tree Planting Party, we will plant trees, which are especially important near streams to help filter polluted stormwater before it flows into the water. We will also clean up litter in the stream.
Coffee and hot cocoa will be provided for volunteers. BYOW (Bring Your Own Waders) or wear clothes appropriate for litter picking along a stream.
