Two juveniles charged for robbery

Two juveniles have been charged in connection with a robbery that occurred earlier today on Kimberly Place. 

On July 24, 2024, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Kimberly Place for a robbery. When officers arrived, they learned that two male suspects with a firearm approached the victim and demanded money. The suspects fled with an undetermined amount of money before officers arrived. With the assistance of the Real-Time Intelligence Center, license plate readers, and Fusus platform, patrol officers were able to locate the suspects a short time later just across the county line in Jessamine County. 

The suspects, a 15-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, were charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm), and Possession of a Firearm by a Minor.
