Forcht Bank Robbery Arrests

Two people have been arrested in connection with a bank robbery that occurred on May 21, 2024.

On May 21, 2024, around 4:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Forcht Bank on Southland Drive for a robbery. Two subjects entered the bank and demanded money before fleeing. Utilizing technology in the Real-Time Intelligence Center, including traffic cameras, license plate readers, and Fusus, detectives were able to identify the suspects.

Markwez Wynn, 26, and Stephen Hampton, 26, were arrested on June 12, 2024, in Nashville, TN by the FBI and Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. Both are being held at the Davidson County Downtown Detention Center on the charge of Robbery 1st Degree awaiting extradition to Fayette County.
