National Faith and Blue Weekend

The Lexington Police Department is partnering with Immanuel Baptist Church and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass to participate in the National Faith and Blue Weekend by hosting an event on October 8, 2023.

Join the Lexington Police Department and Immanuel Baptist Church on October 8, 2023, from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Immanuel Baptist Church Tates Creek Campus (3100 Tates Creek Road) for a Faith and Blue Event.

Come out and meet your Lexington Police Department! Members of LPD’s Motorcycle, Canine, Bicycle, Hazardous Devices, Mounted, and Recruiting Units will be at the event to provide demonstrations. The Police Cook Team will be grilling out, and the Operation Copsicle Van will make an appearance. Representatives from other public safety partners will also be in attendance.

The event will feature a donation drive and will be collecting supplies for the Ronald McDonald House. Some items needed include paper towels, toilet paper, juice boxes, microwavable meals, powdered laundry detergent, warm weather clothing sizes medium through XXL, and small toys.

The event is free and open to the public.
