One lane of Manchester Street closing for trail work

One lane of Manchester Street will closed from the railroad tracks to Oliver Lewis Way beginning Monday, Oct. 9. This traffic pattern change will allow for construction to improve the Town Branch Trail corridor. The closure is expected to last for six weeks.

Manchester Street will remain two-way utilizing temporary traffic signals. Motorists are asked to drive slowly through the construction area. The trail and sidewalks will be closed intermittently. When the sidewalk on one side of the road is closed, the other side will be open.

All Distillery District and Manchester area businesses will be accessible.
