One person has been arrested following a robbery that occurred yesterday at the PNC Bank on Euclid Avenue.
On September 18, 2023, at around 5:35 p.m., officers were dispatched to the PNC Bank in the 700 block of Euclid Avenue for a robbery. During the robbery, the suspect entered the bank and demanded money. The suspect fled in a vehicle before officers arrived with an undisclosed amount of money.
Utilizing the Real Time Intelligence Center, Flock license plate reader system, and traffic cameras, officers were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle and take him into custody.
Michael Gilbert, 39, was arrested on September 19, 2023, for Robbery 1st Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence. He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
