The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred early this morning on Creek Path Lane.
On August 15, 2023, at around 4:52 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Creek Path Lane for a shooting with a victim. When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound inside a residence. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Detectives from the Personal Crimes Section are continuing to investigate.
The Fayette County Coroner's Office will release the name of the decedent.
