One person has been arrested following a shooting that occurred late yesterday evening.
On January 21, 2023, at 11:47 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Lakeshore Drive for shooting. Officers located a male victim inside a residence suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
During the investigation, officers learned that the shooting occurred after an argument between the victim and Daquan Robertson, 29. Robertson was arrested and charged with assault 1st degree-domestic violence. Robertson is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
