July 27, 2022: Jonathan Richardson, 41, has been charged with 1st degree Robbery (Financial Institution) and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Richardson is currently detained at the Fayette County Detention Center.

Investigators have identified the suspect in a bank robbery that occurred onJonathan Richardson July 25, 2022, on Walden Drive and need the public's help locating him.

Jonathan Richardson, 41, has been identified as the suspect in the armed robbery of the 5/3rd Bank on Walden Drive. Investigators are asking anyone with information about Richardson's whereabouts to contact the Lexington Police Department or Bluegrass Crime Stoppers.

Richardson is considered armed and dangerous, and the public should call the Lexington Police Department if they locate him.

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning on Walden Drive.Jonathan Richardson

On Monday, July 25, 2022, at approximately 10:11 a.m., officers responded to the 5/3rd Bank on Walden Drive for a report of a robbery. Officers were advised the suspect had a firearm and handed the employee a note demanding money. The employee complied and the suspect fled the scene with a small amount of money.

After further investigation, officers located a possible location for the suspect in the 3000 block of Tates Creek Road. At this time the investigation is ongoing and investigators are searching for the suspect.
