Bold Bidder Drive Shooting Arrest

The Lexington Police Department has arrested a man wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred last month on Bold Bidder Drive.

On June 30, 2022, at 11:00 p.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of Bold Bidder Drive for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located several shell casings and property damage.  A juvenile victim was transported to a local hospital suffering from a reported non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Hunter Ellington, 19, was arrested on July 6, 2022 and charged with the following:

  • 2nd degree assault
  • Two counts of 1st degree wanton endangerment
  • 1st degree criminal mischief
  • Possession of handgun by convicted felon
  • Tampering with physical evidence

     

Ellington is currently detained at the Fayette County Detention Center.
