Lexington Police Officer Injured at Canine Facility

A Lexington Police Officer has been injured after an incident at the Lexington Police Canine Facility.

The officer was cleaning out a kennel just before 4 p.m. today when they were attacked by a police canine. The officer was transported to a local hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the officer is in stable condition. The canine was uninjured.
