Glen Arvin Avenue Shooting Arrest

February 15, 2022 – One person has been charged in connection with shooting that occurred in the 300 block of Glen Arvin Avenue. The Lexington Police Department has charged Bruce Benton, 29, for the January 23, 2022 shooting.

Benton has been charged with Assault 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (3 counts), and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He is currently in custody on unrelated charges in Hamilton County, OH.
