The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide on Anniston Drive.
Around 8:51 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2022, officers responded to the 500 block of Anniston Drive regarding an individual shot. When officers arrived, they located a 24-year-old male victim in the residence unresponsive. The Lexington Fire Department responded and advised the victim was deceased.
The deceased victim’s name will be released by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
