Centre Parkway homicide investigation

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide which occurred on Centre Parkway.

On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at approximately 8:15 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Centre Parkway for a report of shots fired with two individuals injured. When officers arrived, they located a 46-year-old male victim in the breezeway suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he had succumbed to his injuries. A 54-year-old female victim with reported non-life threating injuries was transported to a local hospital by a third party.

The deceased victim’s name will be released by the Fayette County Coroner’s office.
