The Neighborhood Traffic Management Program provides a process for citizens to partner with Traffic Engineering to assess and address neighborhood traffic concerns related to vehicle speed and volume.
To start the process, citizens simply contact the division through LexCall by calling 311 or (859) 425-2255. Traffic Engineering will conduct a preliminary study and recommend next steps based on the results.Outcomes from the NTMP process can range from additional signage to installation of traffic calming features. Some interventions (e.g., speed table) have a cost share component; others do not. Full details on the program and intervention options can be found in the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program Guide.
