Dave Sevigny (suh-VIG-nee) moved to Lexington in 1985 with a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Buffalo to start a career at IBM. Here he met his wife Paula. Since arriving in Lexington, Dave has resided in the district. He and his wife raised their two kids Lauren and Andrew in the 10th. He also launched their small IT company from their basement in 1996. This strong, independently-owned regional operation that was awarded Commerce Lexington's Small Business of the Year Award in 2010 continues to be a key player in the tech world. As a 2011 KY Small Businessperson of the Year awardee, Dave was a steward in the small business community and continues to be in his retirement.
Non-profit and board work: Commerce Lexington, Episcopal Diocese of Lexington, Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass, Inc., Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lexington, Fayette-County Public School Site-Based Decision Making Council at James Lane Allen Elementary School, Neighborhood and Homeowners' Associations, governing board or vestry at his church.

Savannah/Guilford Stormwater
New storm pipe and inlets will be constructed along Savannah Lane.
- The flow of rainwater to the existing concrete flume along Savannah and Guilford Lanes will be reduced.
- Most of the construction will take place in the City’s right-of-way.

Southland Area Stormwater
- 98 - 99% complete
- Contractor will do some final clean up work.
- This project is underway.
- Completion expected at the beginning of April.
Lyon Drive Stormwater
- Project is to mitigate street flooding on Lyon Dr. between Ft. Harrod Dr. and Snaffle Rd., and construct upsized storm sewer and expand an existing detention basin on Ft. Harrods Dr.
- This project is underway.
- Completion expected late Summer/early Fall 2024.

Parker's Mill Trunk Sewer Replacement
This project will replace and upsize 5,100 feet of sanitary sewer from Alexandria Drive to Cross Keys Park.
- was awarded to MAC Construction in November of 2023
- Underway and ahead of schedule.
- A short-duration traffic impact should be expected beginning on June 24th as we cross Parkers Mill. This closure is expected to last one week.
- Closure of Cross Keys Road from Parkers Mill to Traveler is scheduled from June 24th through the end of July.
- All pipes should be in the ground by the end of August, leaving restoration work to complete the project.
- Tree planting in Cross Keys Park is expected in November when the trees are dormant.
Wolf Run Trunk F Sewer Replacement
This project will replace and upsize over 3,500 feet of sanitary sewer line along Wolf Run Creek from Spring Meadows Drive to Lafayette Parkway.
- Was awarded to Tribute Contracting in July of 2023.
- Underway and on schedule.
- Primary excavation operations are approaching Clays Mill Road.
- Little to no impact is expected on Clays Mill traffic.
- Contractors are also working to bore under Southbend Drive.
- Significant traffic impacts can be expected on Southbend Drive beginning around the second week of June.
- The Southbend closure is expected to last through the end of July.
- Lafayette Parkway traffic impacts are to be expected in late July and August.
- Completion of the project is scheduled for the fall of 2024.
Wolf Run Trunk G Sewer Replacement
This project will replace and upsize over 4,500 feet of sanitary sewer from Lafayette Parkway to Southland Drive.
- In design and expected to go to bid in the late summer/early fall of 2024.
- Significant traffic impacts on Picadome Park, Vista Street, Rosemont Garden and Cherry Bark are to be expected.
