Squires Road to be temporarily closed at Richmond Road

A short section of Squires Road will be temporarily closed to traffic for one week starting on Friday, Dec. 6 to rebuild the road.

Squires Road will be closed 24 hours/day between Richmond Road and Brookewind Way starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 through the weekend. On Monday, Dec. 9, the road will reopen at 6 a.m. but will be closed daily from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. until Friday, Dec. 13.

There will be no access to Squires Road from Richmond Road during the closure. Drivers will be detoured from Richmond Road to South Eagle Creek Drive and Cove Lake Drive to reach Squires Road. Drivers may use Shoreside Drive and Brookewind Way to reach the Lake Crossing neighborhood.

Construction is part of the Squires Road sidewalk project. This work will improve drainage at the intersection of Squires Road and the access road that leads to the shopping center.
