Grant Opportunity Available For Youth Programs

Grassroots Programs that benefit youth in Lexington will soon be able to apply for funding and resources.  Applications to the Grassroots Grants Program, administered by Partners for Youth (PFY) will open on Dec. 1, 2023.

Partners for Youth is a community coalition, initiated in 1995 to assist grassroots youth programs in Lexington. Since then, PFY has allocated well over $1,000,000 in funds and various resources to programs throughout Fayette County. The supported programs range from grassroots initiatives that provide after-school tutoring to the enhancement of new programs in established organizations. Programs focus on developing individual skills and healthy lifestyles, as well as addressing violence prevention and intervention. Partners for Youth’s mission is to promote positive youth development and to prevent juvenile delinquency through collaboration and capacity building.

Applications open on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023

Application deadline is Friday, Jan. 19, 2024 at 5 p.m.

‍Completed Applications must be returned to Partners for Youth via, Hand Delivery: Partners for Youth 162 East Main Street, Suite 210 or Mail Delivery: Partners for Youth, 200 East Main Street Lexington, KY 40507.
