One Person Arrested For Versailles Road Shooting

One person has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier today on Versailles Road

On November 11, 2023, at 2:37 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Versailles Road for a shooting with a victim. When they arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries. The shooting stemmed from a road rage incident.

With assistance from Flock license plate readers, detectives were able to locate the suspect, Kevin Lopez-Martinez, 24. He was charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
