Hotel Robberies Investigation

The LexingtonHotel Robbery Investigation Police Department is investigating two separate robberies that occurred this morning and is asking for help from the public identifying and locating the suspect.

On Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 8:30 a.m., officers responded to the Ramada Inn on North Broadway for a report of a robbery. Officers learned that the suspect told an employee he had a gun and handed an employee a note demanding money. The employee complied, and the suspect left the hotel with a small amount of money. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6’ 1”, with a light beard wearing jeans and a light color hooded sweatshirt.

Then at 9:54 a.m., another robbery was reported at the Comfort Inn on Athens Boonesboro Road. When officers arrived, they learned that the suspect showed employees a gun and handed them a note demanding money. The suspect left before officers arrived. 

After further investigation, the same suspect is believed to have committed both robberies.
