Manchester Street to be closed at High Street for construction

A short section of Manchester Street, formerly South Jefferson Street, will be temporarily closed to traffic starting on Monday, Nov. 6, for construction related to Town Branch Park. This closure is expected to last until the end of November.

There will be no right turn from High Street to Manchester Street. Oliver Lewis Way may be used to access the Central Bank Center Level 1 parking garage, the Level 3 loading dock and Ty Court.

This construction is part of a project to improve access to the future site of Town Branch Park. Work along West High and Manchester streets will improve pedestrian access and safety, as well as construct an entry into Town Branch Park.
