Endon Drive shooting investigation arrest

The Lexington Police Department has arrested a man wanted in connection with a shooting.

On October 10, 2021, at approximately 1348 hours, officers responded to the 1800 block of Endon Drive in reference to a verbal disorder that escalated to individuals shot. Upon arrival officers observed a 66-year-old female victim suffering a serious gunshot wound. Officers also observed a 15-year-old male victim with reported non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local hospital.

After further investigation, Marlon Griffin, 23, has been charged with the following:

-Assault 1st Degree

-Assault 2nd Degree

-Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon

-5 Counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st

Griffin has been lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.

This investigation is still ongoing.
