One Person Arrested For Anniston Drive Shooting

One person has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier today on Anniston Drive.

On October 6, 2023, at approximately 12:56 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Anniston Drive for a shooting with a victim. When they arrived, they found a male victim outside, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with reported critical injuries.

Kaleb Peterson, 20, was arrested a short time later and charged with Assault 1st Degree, and Violation of Conditions of Release. Peterson is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
