One Person Arrested For Laredo Drive Shooting

One person has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred last week on Laredo Drive.

At around 9:26 p.m., on September 19, 2023, officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Laredo Drive for a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with reported life-threatening injuries.

On September 25, 2023, Elijah Adams, 19, was charged with Assault 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, and Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon. Adams is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
