Metal Theft Criminal Mischief Arrest

The Lexington Police Department has made an arrest in connection with several metal thefts that caused over $150,000 worth of damage to local businesses.

From late May to early September 2022, officers responded to several metal thefts from HVAC units in the Chevy Chase and Nicholasville Road areas. These thefts caused over $150,000 worth of damages. On September 15, 2022, detectives charged Kenneth Jordan with 15 counts of 1st-degree criminal mischief.

Jordan is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
