Pemberton Lane Homicide Arrest

UPDATE: August 26, 2021:

Lexington Police has arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile for the homicide on Pemberton Lane. The juvenile has been lodged at the Fayette Regional Juvenile Detention Center.

The investigation led to the following charges being placed:

·         Murder

·         Possession of a Handgun by a Minor

·         Receiving Stolen Property – Firearm

A homicide investigation is underway after shots fired.

On Sunday, August 22, 2021, around 9:13 p.m., Lexington Police responded to Pemberton Lane and Stolle Poole Court for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim’s name will be released by the Fayette County Coroner’s office pending notification of family. 

Detectives continue to investigate this case.
