Squires Trail between Buckhorn Drive and Summerhill Drive will be closed on Saturday, August 19, to allow for repaving.
The work is being done on Saturday so that it doesn’t interfere with school children who use the trail to walk to and from Squires Elementary. The trail was closed over the summer for sewer construction.
The sewer project is part of the East Hickman Force Main, which involves nearly six miles of sanitary sewer pipe constructed from the new East Hickman Pump Station to the West Hickman Wastewater Treatment Plant. The pipeline will allow the sewer system to better serve the community.
