Main Street Shooting Investigation Arrests

The Lexington Police Department has arrested three people in connection with a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Main Street last month.

On July 31, 2022, at around 2:00 a.m., officers responded to shots fired on Main Street. When officers arrived, the suspects had already fled the scene. Antonio Bell was arrested on July 31, and Marion Moore and Mikcorah Taylor were later arrested on August 11. During the investigation, detectives discovered the shooting stemmed from an argument between Moore and Bell.

Marion Moore, 22, has been charged with two counts of assault 1st degree, one count of wanton endangerment 1st degree, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Antonio Bell, 23, has been charged with seven counts of wanton endangerment 1st degree, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (heroin), and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Mikcorah Taylor, 44, has been charged with two counts of facilitation of assault 1st degree and one count of facilitation of wanton endangerment 1st degree.

All three individuals are detained at the Fayette County Detention Center.
