Government Center to close at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7

The Government Center, 200 E. Main St., will close at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, to allow for a state inspection and testing of the building’s elevators.

The three elevators have recently been overhauled. The inspection and testing program requires that the elevators be shut down.

All government offices in the Government Center and Switow Building will close at 4 p.m. The LEXserv office at 218 E. Main, where people can pay their LEXserv bills, will also close at 4 p.m.
