Off-Duty Lexington Officer Arrested for DUI

An off-duty Lexington Police Officer has been arrested and charged with DUI.

Officer Rachael Curnutte was arrested on July 21, 2024, after an officer observed her driving her personal vehicle on Man O War Blvd. During the course of the investigation, officers determined that Curnutte was under the influence of alcohol. She was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. 

Effective Sunday, July 21, 2024, Officer Curnutte was relieved of sworn duties and transferred to an administrative assignment in accordance with department policy while the incident is under review.
