UPDATE 08/29/24 – One person has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of C’aveyoun Robinson that occurred on July 19.
Robert Constant, 36, was arrested on August 28, 2024, and charged with Murder and Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon. He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred this morning on Liberty Road.
On July 19, 2024, around 4:56 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Liberty Road for a shooting with a victim. When officers arrived, they located a male victim in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the decedent.
