Accord Drive Homicide Investigation

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred late Friday night on Accord Drive.

At 11:20 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2022, officers responded to the 1000 block of Octavian Way for a report of a subject who had been shot. When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased. During the course of the investigation, officers discovered that the shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Accord Drive.

The victim's name will be released by the Fayette County Coroner's Office.

At this time, all parties have been identified.
