Ormond Circle Shots Fired Investigation Arrests

Four people have been arrested following shots fired that occurred in the early morning hours on Ormond Circle.

On June 12, 2024, around 2:36 a.m., officers were dispatched for shots fired in the area of Lansdowne Drive and Redding Road. Officers and Air One were able to locate where the gunshots were coming from in the 3400 block of Ormond Circle. No injuries were reported. One residence was struck by the gunfire.

Officers arrested Luis Edel, 22, Elias Loeza Zapl, 29, Adaias Lopez-Perez, 37, and Daniel Vill Egaz, 27, at the scene. They are currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center each have been charged with the following:

  • 7 counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree – Police Officer
  • 2 counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree
  • 1 count of Criminal Mischief 1st Degree
  • 1 count of Discharging a Firearm in City Limits
