The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide.
On Tuesday, June 8, 2021, around 11:35 p.m., Lexington Police responded to the 200 block of Hedgewood Court for a report of a subject shot. Upon arrival, officers located a 28-year-old victim in the driver’s seat of a passenger car deceased from gunshot wounds.
The victim’s name will be released by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office. Police continue to investigate this case.
