The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on May 4.
On Saturday, May 4, 2024, around 7:17 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Christian Road for a person down. When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from apparent blunt force trauma. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on May 5, 2024. Detectives from the Personal Crimes Section are continuing to investigate.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the deceased victim’s name.
