Upcoming Mayor’s Neighborhood Summit

Mayor Linda Gorton will hold the next Mayor’s Neighborhood Summit from 8:30 a.m. – noon, Saturday, April 22, at the Lexington Senior Center, 195 Life Lane.

This is the fourth citywide neighborhood summit Gorton has held since 2019. The Summits provide an opportunity for community members to learn about the work of the City, as well as from other neighborhoods across Lexington.

“It is my goal to have the community involved and engaged,” Gorton said. “These events provide an opportunity for neighbors to come together, learn more about the work of their local government, and connect with one another.”

The Summit will include three breakout session topics – Police Technology, Parks and Public Space, and Public Art Collaborative Art.

More information is available at lexingtonky.gov/mayors-neighborhood-summit. The Summit is free and open to the public. The Senior Center is located behind Southland Christian Church on Richmond Road.
