Greentree Road closure will begin on April 24

Greentree Road at Willowood Road will be closed to through traffic 24 hours a day starting on Monday, April 24, to allow for utility work. The closure, which will last at least through Thursday, May 18, will extend partway up the block toward Castleton Way. Centre Parkway/ Appian Way will be the primary detour route.

The closure was originally scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 18.

Lexington’s Division of Water Quality is replacing and upsizing approximately 6,000 feet of sanitary sewer pipe along Greentree Road, from Armstrong Mill to past New Circle Road. The work, which may take up to a year, is being done in sections.
