Lexington Senior Center reopens

The electricity is back on at the Lexington Senior Center, and it is reopening at noon today.

The center has been closed this week because of the outage.

“We’re all glad life is getting back to normal, and I know our senior citizens will be glad to get back to the center,” Mayor Linda Gorton said.

There will be no instructor-led activities today. Activities will resume tomorrow morning.

The center is located on Life Lane, behind Southland Christian Church on Richmond Road.
