Hollow Creek Drive Homicide Investigation Arrest

February 8, 2022: UPDATE – One person has been charged in connection with the homicide that occurred in the 400 block of Hollow Creek Drive.

The Lexington Police Department has arrested a 17-year-old juvenile for the shooting death of Cornelius Allen. The juvenile has been charged with Murder, Minor in Possession of a Handgun, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Lexington Police is prohibited from identifying the suspect because they are a juvenile. The juvenile is currently being detained in a juvenile detention facility.

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide on Hollow Creek Drive.  

Around 1:18 p.m., Monday, February 7, 2022, officers responded to the 400 block of Hollow Creek Drive for a call of shots fired. When officers arrived, they located a 44-year-old male victim in the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased.

The deceased victim’s name will be released by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
