Golden Alert Issued for Missing Lexington Man

UPDATE: The Golden Alert for Anthony McKaig has been canceled. He has been located.

The Lexington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for a missing 
Lexingtoanthony mckaign man.

Anthony McKaig, 24, was last seen on December 31, 2023, at around 9:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of Sun Seeker Court. He is 5’8” tall and approximately 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black beanie hat, brown Carhart jacket, blue jeans, and black backpack.

McKaig has a mental health condition and is believed to be traveling on foot.

Anyone with knowledge of Anthony McKaig’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
