History
Kenwick Community Center, originally Kenwick Church of Nazarene, opened its doors in 1930 and has been a staple in the Lexington community even after the congregation left. Following its use as a church, Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government purchased the building to be used as a community center operated by Lexington Parks & Recreation.
