The newly formed Friends of Jacobson Park will hold an Earth Day Cleanup from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on April 22, 2023! Volunteers are encouraged to sign up for morning, afternoon, or both shifts. Gloves, trash bags, and trash-picking sticks will be provided. Children are welcome with adult supervision. Food trucks and beer and cider vendors will also be on-site from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday. Volunteers will gather at Shelter #1 by the marina (take a left when entering the park).
Additionally, on Sunday, April 23 from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m., there will be a cleanup at Lakeside Golf Course for ages 16 and older. Please note that volunteers will be working on the lake's edge.
